The Star
What a confusing story. The one thing that i did like this story was the that the characters were a form of rebels. All through are lives we have been told that there is only one solor system and only one place that there could be life, and that is the planet Earth. The characters in The Star go against all that. They decide to explore further than what we were told exists. They have the will power and the resources to do so. They decide to take this journey no matter what because of their curiosity and wanting to know what is out there. They know something is going on in the deepths of outerspace and they are willing to go and research what it might be.

well...if you were in their position would you be a rebal like the charaicters in this story and search beyond what you have been told you whole life?? and do you let science influence your faith or do you just keep faith in what you have always believed in?
I would live my life like everyone else does. I would not try to disprove things that we hav been told throught out are lives. It has been driven into our heads that Earth is the only place that has human life and that sound good to me i have no need to go and see if that statement is true of false. My faiht stays with my beliefs. I have faith that there maybe life somewhere else besides Earth but i feel that we dont really need to solve that question.
