The Star

What a confusing story. The one thing that i did like this story was the that the characters were a form of rebels. All through are lives we have been told that there is only one solor system and only one place that there could be life, and that is the planet Earth. The characters in The Star go against all that. They decide to explore further than what we were told exists. They have the will power and the resources to do so. They decide to take this journey no matter what because of their curiosity and wanting to know what is out there. They know something is going on in the deepths of outerspace and they are willing to go and research what it might be.

Hitchhikers 1-36

The book is pretty out there. It is very interesting and grabs my attention very well. So far in the book there has been four main characters, Aurthur Dent, Ford Prefect,Mr. Prosser and the Vogons. Mr. Prosser has been sent to destroy Dent's home so that a bypass can be built in its place. Prefect is a friend of Dent's but is also a alien who has been on earth for 14 years. He looks like a normal human but is slightly disfigured. Prefect tells Dent that the world is coming to a end in a few minutes. As Aurthurs house is being torn down the Vogons arrive to destroy the planet. They come over a loud speaker transmitted through all the radios, and speakers on the earth and say that they are here to destroy the word, and they word it the same way that Prosser tells Aurther that they have destroy his home.
